Applications
Siphons are cooling elements for protection from excessive heating of liquids, gases and vapours. Siphons also are used to protect pressure gauges from pressure spikes and pulsations. Inside the syphon, condensate is collected, which prevents the ingress of hot media into the pressure measuring instrument.
